Message: REMEMBERING ROCKY GIL OCTOBER 11 2009,  Last Wednesday October 7 marked the fourth anniversary of the passing of my cousin Rocky Gil. It\\\'s hard to believe it\\\'s been that long, it seems it was only yesterday that we were performing together and enjoying life as teenagers and young adults. 

I Thought about him all night long last night as I tried to get some sleep but couldn't. Then I realized that he\\\'s not really gone, he lives on in my heart and in my memories. I\\\'m sure that I speak for the all musicians that ever performed with him or saw his performances will agree with me that he was the greatest performer with the most beautiful voice in all of Tejano music. That\\\'s why I can say \\\"If there\\\'s a Tejano music heaven, you know he\\\'s got a hell of a band\\\".
BREAK A LEG UP THERE CUZ! I\\\'ll see you again some day.
