I remember watching my Dad, every weekend, dancing around on stage, watching as he sung every note, and watching, the girls going crazy on every note and every move... I remember thinking, Wow! if that's what it takes, to get in with the girls! That's, what I want to be, when I grow up! As in Sleepless in Seattle - I'll order what she's Having!!!!!

Ric Garza, Houston, Texas

As the rise of Rocky Gil and the Bishops, approached in the distance, Rocky married Josie Guardiola and had two children, Richard and Elizabeth, otherwise know as Little Ricky and Lizzy. The two siblings soon found themselves in the mist of the rock and roll lifestyle, with all of it's glory and pitfalls, unaware that  the turmoil that followed the lifestyle, would ultimately guide their future.
Ric's search left him yearning for more! "Mom always followed dad to the shows, especially, local shows, we were usually there", Ric Stated.  After years of witnessing the dark side of fame, and being caught in the middle of it all. Ric decided to pursue the behind the scenes aspect of music. Ric, dove right in to sound engineering, songwriting, and producing.
Rics' hunger for more, once again found him transitioning from behind the stage, to front stage. Armed with his music, songwriting, and producing abilities, Ric decided to follow the path of Christian music, and start singing again. On his journey he met his wife Deanna a southern gospel singer, together they found themselves leading large  congregations and in the forefront of intimate worship music. Ric and Deanna have three treasures - Jessica, Rique, and Nicholas each with their own musical abilities.

Jessica Garza, always with a mind in business, pursued pageantry for scholarship money for college, and went on to win the Teen Texas American Beauty title, as well as becoming Miss Texas American Dream 2007. Armed with these titles Jessica found a renewed love for singing and is currently leading worship in her local church. Jessica is married to her childhood sweetheart, Chris Lindsey, together, they have continued in the music ministry, as well as, proud business owners of Fortitude Productions.
Driven by their intense love of music and the ability to change lives through it, Brothers Rique Garza: Vocals and Guitar and Nick Garza: Vocals and Drums, with an inherited 3rd generation musical talent, sought out to form a band to introduce a life changing sound to the rest of the world. Uprise of the Fallen was born. Their music, that has been inspired by life experiences, is used as a vehicle to bring change in the lives of the young people they minister to. Yes, this music is a tool to reach the hurting youth of today.
UOTF care deeply about the people that hear their music, and believe they are making a difference in the attitudes towards hard-core worship and their personal relationships with Christ. UOTF wants their music to inspire others to step out of their box and reach out to those around them and take back everything that has been stolen from this generation. Their live performances are exceptionally intense; delivering an unexpected power and emotion that never fails to leave the audience feeling less than astounded.
